What do coral reefs and rainforests have in common? They are home to rare and unique species and are two of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on Earth! Join us on this family-friendly tour of our reef and rainforest exhibits and learn about these important ecosystems, the species that call them home, and the Academy’s expeditions to these dynamic environments. This is a special offering for visitors ages 5+.

Reminders

  • Tours run on schedule. Please arrive early to check in prior to entry.
  • These are walking tours, but all tours are ADA accessible. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for indoor and outdoor environments. Uneven surfaces, slick spots, or inclement weather may be encountered.
  • Guests are encouraged to explore the museum exhibits before or after the tour. The Adventure Tour does not visit all public exhibits.
  • Elements of the tours and exhibits at the Academy are subject to change without prior notice.
